烏賀陽弘道氏はＳＬＡＰＰ訴訟を戦い抜いた。オリコンを敗訴に追い込むまで、戦い抜いた。
これは大変なことである。
私は次のように書いた。
誰もが、ＳＬＡＰＰ（口封じ訴訟）と戦い抜くことが出来る訳ではない。
やはり、訴訟を続けるは苦しいのである。訴訟に多くの時間を取られ、実質的に無収入に近い状況に追いつめられるのである。
その苦しい時、相手は次のようなことを言ってくるのである。
一言謝れば、提訴は取り下げる。
「悪魔の誘い」である。一言謝るだけで楽になれるのである。
このような状況で耐えられる人は少ない。
自分だけの損得ならば、その条件を飲んだ方が得かもしれない。
しかし、烏賀陽弘道氏は、最後まで戦い抜いてオリコンを敗訴に追い込んだのである。ＳＬＡＰＰ（口封じ訴訟）が成功する前例を作らせないためである。烏賀陽弘道氏は、自覚的にオリコン訴訟をＳＬＡＰＰ（口封じ訴訟）と位置づけた。自覚的に言論の自由を守るために戦ったのである。
● インターネットを活用した個人が大企業に勝訴
烏賀陽弘道氏は、オリコン訴訟を〈言論の自由を守るための戦いである〉と位置づけていた。〈ＳＬＡＰＰが成功した前例を作らせない〉と意図して戦っていたのである。
このような意図性が重要である。人間は意図しておこなった行為によって評価されるべきだからである。
烏賀陽弘道氏の意図は、最初に発信した「ＳＯＳメール」で既に明確だった。
このメールで烏賀陽弘道氏は次のように述べたのである。
これが言論の自由へのテロでなくて何でしょう。民主主義の破壊でなくて何でしょう。これは体を張ってでも阻止せねばなりません。
烏賀陽弘道氏の意図は、｢言論の自由」を｢体を張って」守るというものであった。｢民主主義」を守るというものであった。
そして、烏賀陽弘道氏はＳＬＡＰＰ（口封じ訴訟）を戦い抜いた。烏賀陽弘道氏は意図して戦い抜いたのである。
世界は烏賀陽弘道氏にお礼を言うべきである。
烏賀陽弘道氏は、｢体を張って」｢民主主義」を守ったのである。
世界に成り代わり、烏賀陽弘道氏にお礼を申し上げたい。
